Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Man U is playing so poor even with Stevie G out....man their football is a pain to watch...been hoping that they up their tempo pace and overall game in the 2H but players lk Fletcher Carrick Evans are so Div 1- like....square passing all the time...cant hold the midfield together let alone a string of passes...Utter rubbish....they are lucky again to be one goal up playing lk a team of jokes

Well said! Only Anderson is the bright spark and he is on the bench!Bring him on and humiliate pool onces and for all!!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

yup....game not pretty so far, but games between these two have always been like this.

Numerical advantage is good, but SAF may elect to play on the counter, and we need to be clinical.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

omg...what passing are they stringing??? not under pressure and a stray pass....come on Fergie..send them back to basics!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Has it occurred that SAF did not place the FA Cup as a priority at all?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

a win is a win.....

Reina was impressive... that 5 saves in 3 seconds.....

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Clinical but I m not happy.. Nx round.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Yup FA is the last priority for SAF, after BPL and CL. Today's game seems more like a practice match for Man Utd.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Still no excuse for such a poor performance from the Red Devils....absolutely abysmal showing...midfield not creating not holding...aga 10 men they still had difficulty keeping ball...cant pick out a good performance from any players on the field tonight...maybe Giggs? considering his age he lasted a pretty high tempo game....Man U needs a revamp really...they are top not because they played well but other top sides played worse or self destruct...its really quite a joke they are top...im sure Fergie din expect this..given their football...boring unexciting one dimensional pump to the flanks tactics...no guile no creativity...aga Barca or Real...we cant bully them lk wat we did to Arsenal...Sold tevez Ronaldo....no longer the fear factor or that sense of explosiveness or unpredictability abt their football...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Though Liverpool lost, it appears that they are playing with more fire in the belly under Kenny Dalglish.

Man Utd did just enough though and SAF was spot on with the season's strategy. He is not looking at individual games but the big picture. That's the hallmark of a great manager. Glory, glory Man Utd !!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

No matter how die hard Red Devil fan I am, I must say that this is the worst Man U side I seen for ages..refused to subscribe to Mio Tv..watched online...I must say I am v disappointed to see them play lk tt...makes me think twice to subscribe to Mio...their football this season is zero..have not watched alot of their matches but whenever i had the chance to watch...im frustrated fan...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Agree with Niva.

They need to inject soul into their midfield - a Keane replacement who could command the midfield, and a creative playmaker like Cantona (cough cough cough)...... Anderson, Nani and Valencia have a lot to do. Fletcher is doing just enough with his work rate, but Carrick, Giggs, Obertan and Hargreaves should be written off in 1-2 seasons' time.

Southampton versus Man Utd next round......

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Actually, J Evans did not do too badly today.

Wonder what team SAF will put up at Saints in 3 weeks time.

Smalling and Evans in defense?
