woah Fiorentina! lol used to watch out for Gabriel Batistuta...nice...

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Cristiano scored 9th goal so far in all competition...
At the rate he is currently going, think he's gonna break the 43 goals he scored for Man U 2 seasons back

80 mil pounds looks like a REAL good deal now...

Think at some point Fergie was interested in bringing Batigol to OT.... but Fiorentina boss was afraid he would get murdered if he ever sold him.... Wouldn't be surprised - I mean, Batigol has a statue of him in front of the Fiorentina grounds!

I still think it was a great piece of business, selling for 80mil pounds, no matter how many goals he scores for Real this season. Simply because he probably wouldn't score as many if he had stayed at OT.

bad news indeed.
question now is how much is singtel going to charge?
dun think it will be too far off from what starhub is charging as i seriously think ppl will just forgo the channel altogether. its just the freakin hassle of porting ur subscription from one subscriber to another.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I guess price becomes less significant. Unless you are willing to watch all the games outside the comfort of your home, then it leaves you little choice.

Looking at the channels offered by MIO, nothing really tickles. So guys like me who still wanna stay subscribed to Starhub because of channels like History, NGC , Discovery and others, the nuisance will be 2 set-up boxes.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

just hope that Singtel will offer pay per view for EPL matches.. currently paying ard $60 per month to watch Spurs matches in HD, ave maybe 1 match or less per month, damn ex

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

GGMU!

It directly impacts our ability to view come next season. Maybe this thread will die out cos people refuse to be cornered into signing up for MIO - nothing to watch, nothing to say.
