Claim restitution under lemon law from which ws? Where did u get your ride from?

Btw, your top priority would be to find a competent workshop to troubleshoot your problem. Many of us here will recommend R2D. But don't go there diagnose then run to another workshop hor.

Cheers. Good luck!

Throttle issue.

Oh. I remember now. You are the chap who was asking advice on getting an E90... but already paid the deposit.

Seems like u didn't manage to drag the dealer down to one of the site sponsor ws for a full inspection. But anyways that's history.

The question is, if you bring it back to the ws, how will you prove the car is a lemon.

Also, the car might just break down at the shop, but how will u be certain the ws fixes it the permanent/proper way and not do a 'quick fix'?

Re: Throttle issue.

Bro, I suggest u try making a appt wif R2D and send ur ride for a check... be it got to leave it there for a thorough check over night. once he knows what'e the problem, get it fix. After that then u get the dealer to answer to your damage on the repair.

They refused? Go case lor. make sure they take it up. at least take back 50% also shiok cos u know ur ride is done up.

Chill....

Many of us had worse problems than you, trust me.

This forum is an archive of all the problems people like me who didn't send in our rides for a full check encountered after buying our rides on impulse.

But not to worry, we have the best BMW workshops in SG, MY and some say Batam (I never say R2D hor!).

The irony is that under lemon law you must give the dealer (in this case Global Trust) a chance to resolve the problem you have. Can google lemon law and read up.

Only if they fail to resolve it after given sufficient opportunity can you take action.

I suggest you talk to them first, see if they are willing to let you resolve the problem at another ws and foot the bill.

If not, you just have to let them try to resolve it, and take it from there.

Don't worry. Many of us went through it the hard way.

Bro, u go batam change wat parts?? servicing????

Re: Throttle issue.

Go get it diagnosed properly like bro RBB said, find out repair costs, then ask WS to bear it all.

They will offer to settle 50% of repair costs as they are already prepared for you to go back and bang table.

Failing which you can claim it as lemon, and demand they take the car back.
