Actually what Terry said is right to a point but given that the amount of foreigners in our island now, alot of civics and morals has been diluted and to some of us, when we look at it, is something that neither of us would have accepted 5-10 years ago. And pretty much at that time, this place where we now live was very Singaporean both in culture and mindset.

on the topic of NSHW, have you seen how some JB plated cars drive? the real gangsters of the streets. speed, hog, weave, whatever... and other road users also LLST let them by. Not those kancils and protonlutions also. Blacked out big ass Land cruiser-sized SUVs.

ok, i see it now. where's the evidence airbags were removed?
side impact will not deploy front airbag... even if the front airbag was deployed, it won't do anything to help. Might even make things worse. just sayin.

I don't actually see any proof that Comfort has done this - seems more like an assumption based on the fact that no airbag deployed. But as Mockngbrd said, depending on the nature of the impact, airbag might not be deployed.
But that's the Internet...can say whatever you like, without any actual proof. Everyone's an experts just by looking at photographs.
If you ask me, I'd think removing or asking for cars without airbags would probably incur extra costs, since they come standard on most cars as many countries require them by law, and it makes more sense for the car companies to just build in the airbags during the production process.

The ferrari would probably not be doing 100kmh.. i think more

I have to agree with Mockngbrd as it makes no sense to remove e airbags since airbags r OEM fitments (at least e front two).
Assessing from the front damages seen, it is very likely e front airbag was not activated. Being a side impact, the Sonata may not have OEM side airbags therefore no deployment of airbag... but then even with side airbag deployed, am doubtful damage could be minimise since whole side structure collapsed into the mid segment of e vehicle chasis.
Centz worth and opinion of there's airbag or not are just views, can be wrong anyway when facts surface.

To me all this post by singaporeans is a reflection of the deep underlying frustation that they feel with the influx of foriengers. the extent of the frustration makes some people blind to the fact that this was an accident involving a reckless driver with a powerful car. All this is tragic, no point turning this into a witch hunt for foriegner. Cheers
