Was told some of the 335i buyers have changed to 335ic. Thus there are some 335i slots available for earlier delivery. Thot the bottleneck was the engine - 335ic & 335i hv the same engine right? Confusing. Was informed last week that the delivery can be earlier. Hope it is a FIFO system, fairer to the pple who have booked the car earlier.

I think u re confused. 335 is 335 and yes the engine is in shortage. Some 335 buyers switched to 325 bcos they could get it quicker. I think the car body n parts are there, but there is tremendous demand for the 335 turbo engine, such as from suckers like myself.

Like that hah. Oh if they willing to give me a cabrio with no additional top-up required then I take cabrio loh

Hi all,
Just placed a deposit for a 335 cabrio and was told to expect delivery in Feb 2008 latest. FYI.
Upgraded audio to Logic 7 but was told that PML does not have my other requested option i.e. full iPod USB Adaptor integration with iDrive . Can anyone confirm this and is there any 3rd party able to install this? Thanks in advance.

haha...u see, PML is unbelievable. I was told my car is in the production schedule, but as to when it is actually going to begin production, they dont know. Which of cos means they dont know when is the delivery date.
Hence I wonder how yr SE told u, when mine couldnt, that it is arriving Feb 2008.

No difference in saying you wanna buy a audi cabrio now. Order already. Now lan lan just have to wait. Its a worthwhile wait.

ABD, I was prepared to wait till April anyway so if they are telling me its coming in early Feb, its a bonus for me. No point getting all frustrated about this, it will come eventually.
I thought PML is also telling prospective buyers that delivery is in Feb now? They must have managed to get a big production allocation recently
