October and November allocation from BMW Germany should be available. Has anyone that booked 335i received news from PML that their car is coming soon? Especially those who have booked their 335i during first half of 2007? So that we can gauge roughly how long more is our wait? Thks.

I heard from a competitor that BMW's results for FY 2007 is very good so they are trying to shift as many sales as possible to FY 2008 because they expect FY 2008 is projected to be pretty bleak for BMW.
So the shortage now is not real, I guess.

Not only that if they dont do something, they will lose the E92 335 sales to Audi A5. My colleague booked and collected his CLK 280 because he says the 335 wait is not worth it, altho he liked it after testdriving the 335.
So PML & BMW Asia, u guys better wake up !

I reckon Feb 2008 or in the worse case March.
To make a baby, it takes 9 months. To get yr 335, it takes up 8 months. So for those of you who booked yr car and waiting, dont waste yr time just hoping. Meanwhile pls make more babies to support our garmen's drive to address the old age issue.

Actually, the competitor is Mercedes Benz. I heard not from C&C, but from MB. They were talking about GLOBALLY not Singapore. The wait is not because of PML's results, but BMW AG's results.

MB is always full of it.
Saw a C350 the other day. It was so bling that 50 cent would be ashamed to be seen in it. Even without all that crummy chrome, it's still a seriously ugly car. Once again MB reaches a new pinnacle of bengism [no offence to our local bengs....] I'd rather wait 8 months......

I think the design of the C-Class is quite nice though, it is very much the wave of the future. The big grille is very classical MB, and it's nice to see them return. See 500SEC.

I brought my friend who is interested in the 335 for a test drive. He was hooked to it. *who isn't*. but, the agent told me the car can now be had by Chinese New Year.... not sure if it is true. He is actually waiting to sell off his property before putting down payment for the 335.
