I'd like to know from spray painting experts out there is it ok to just spray the affected area or is a total respray of the bonnet needed for uniformity? Thanks.

Re: Aircon question Based on the description of the symptoms, i.e. warm when stationary, cool when moving, my guess it's unlikely to be the cooling coil, more likely the aircon compressor.

Re: Flushing ATF This is very true... some call this gearbox shock or something to that effect. Usually, any decent workshop will probably recommend to re-use part of the old ATF (can't recall is it 1/2 or 2/3) with the rest being new ATF to prevent gearbox shock.

Re: How to set aircon to recycle as default mode hehe... mine is E90 335 and I've to manually set it to recycle almost everytime when I start the car. Only exception is when I stop/start the car within a very short window period, say within 10min?

Re: Can i mix different engine oil? As a top up, while it's not ideal, it won't kill you engine. Preferably stick to at least the same weightage and formulation (if it's synthetic in there, top up with a synthetic oil).
