Hi all, just collected my 216D GT in Silver, before this I was driving F10. Do you guys find it very hard to find the right driving position? I am 6ft tall and after 2 days my back /right leg are aching badly. The problem is i find it hard to position my foot to alternate between the break and accelerator. Especially the break seems very hard to modulate, i have to lift up my leg quite frequently inorder to exert the right pressure. Is it becasue it hasnt been run-in? i read the manual it takes about 500km for break to work best. Apprecaite any feedback. thanks
Hi! Welcome to the "high" ride of 2GT! [emoji23]
Yes, because you came and got used to driving a BMW sedan, a few of us actually found it hard to find that sweet spot on the driving seat. For me, I'm abt 5'10", I put my seat to the lowest point and increase the height of the thigh support so my legs are better supported. The steering positioning - height and reach - needs a few adjustment to get that sweet spot too. So adjustments a couple of times are to be expected as you came from a sedan "low and planted" driving position.
Yeah, give the brakes up to 1k, it shd get better with time.
PM me ur name/mobile so we can add u on our WA grp. [emoji1360]
Thanks bro. I thought steering wheel can only be adjusted for height but not reach? Thanks again for your prompt reply.
Bro TNT.TREX, what size of tire you upgrade to? I believe your 17inch tire sold right?
Wah power bro. With original BMW rim? Now the new 216 come with 16inch rims lousy....
19inch tire plus rims how much bro?!...you are right at minimun 17inch manHaha ... no lah, aftermarket rims. Ya the 16s are pretty small ... looks disproportionate
