Hey there ! Haha true that. Ain't got much contrast. Anyway just got cool carb pads. Hope it'll reduce the dusts appearing on the rims. Cleaning it's spokes can be quite a pain ya.

Fellow Z4 E89 bros.

Notice this morning that when i open the door immediately after unlocking, the window goes down 3/4 way and slides back up after u enter the car with doors closed. was told that this is the way it should be and it happens for E93 and 6 series as well.

I have the car for 4 months now and i am 100% positive that the windows do not go down 3/4 way when opening the door immediately after unclocking. but rather, it dips only slightly to allow openin and closing of the doors.

Appreciate if you could advise if your rides are operating the same way.

Thanks.

3/4? Is the hole big enough to put ur hands thru? Mine will dip down abit but not until i can squeeze my hand thru, only to go under the roof then go back up when the door is closed

yes big enough for my head to go in as well! not sure if i adjusted some settings by accident. are u aware if this is reversible?

Oh my! something has to be wrong, i'm not sure if this is something which can be set and unset. I'm looking at the manual, doesn't say anything about such a problem. Anyone else?

If I can recall correctly, when you activate your remote to open the doors twice, you will experience that. I remembered sometime back, I wasn't too sure if the initial "press" on the remote key open the locks. I repeated it again. When I opened the doors, the window came down quite a fair bit. Once I get into the car, it rolled up completely again. Maybe it is a feature to release "hot air" trap in the car if you park outdoor for a long time.

could u elaborate on what u mean by activate remote to open doors twice? is it the double click action whereone click opens the drivers door while a second click opens the passengers?

for Sedan you pressed 1 more time on the remote it unlock the passenger door but for Z4 (not sure if this apply to coupe) if you press twice the window will wind down once you open either door..........

cheers

okok i see where this is getting. i have my setting set to one click to open all doors. but by default cars delivered by PML is configured to 2 clicks.

r u saying that formy settings by pressing twice the windows will wind down when door is opened? this would make sense as the SA would likely press twice to unlock my door not knowing i have changed the config.
