i been to see the vehicle. Not worth the time to go and see honestly. A pillar screws on, rims warped and cracked i suppose hit kerb. interior below steering there is a cover which has dangled out and like will dropped.... Aircon not cold...
Its for enthusiast coz u need $ and effot and time to restore back.

Went to see the car an hour ago with my wife, engine looks fine but didnt had a chance to test drive it as the whole interior is taken out for upholstery, the dealer told me i would get a new aircon system, new rims and tyres, new solar flim and all faulty interior will be replaced, can any bros tell me if its a good buy? looking for a 2nd car for my wife price quoted was 21.8k with new 6 months rd tax. im currently driving a evo7 and is not very sure about the market price of bmw, pls advice thanks bros

U managed to look at the engine? How long u took to open the bonnet the latch also spoilt only left the wire dangling there, i tried pulkling but damn painful lor. So many things new? I doubt so lor. I started the car, seat in and rev abit, mounting seems loose as the whole car vibrate sideways. I am doubtful the dealer will restore everything to perfect maybe restore to can use type only. Minimum tahna 6months before it comes tumbling down again.
Then u will spend your time :argue: with dealer

oh, thx for ur advice bro, but my wife reali like the car alot, and also the dealer say they can send the car to PML or STA for a check before i place a deposit, and if i were to do the interior, rims and tyres myself they will give me a $2k off, but leather already doing half way so cant stop, do u think its worth to get a $2k off or ask them to do it for me? pls advice thanks

2k off the price? Honestly u cant do much the interior like dash board lower panel and A pillars very jialat.... if u got time u can put at workshop restore... if u r enthusiast u can do so lor. for me honestly i will pass it... dealers wont restore it back 100% trust me. The leather is PVC only. and seriously the interior panels really sick lor... from the outside i agree its superb.

gettin a e36 is not reali lookin at how pefect it is i guess... its the beauty of it n the classic... the car condition is definately not tip top as its 16 yrs le... and most of the parts are stock... so wear and tear is there... if the dealer is doin up the interior i think its gd.. cos my previous dealer hu sold mi the car did nth to it at all.... i love the car even if its not in tip top condition like alot of ppl hu told mi b4. tis car is gd i feel cos its rare,, jus prepare to touch up to wat ur driving style is... aniway did plan to extend the coe previously but i guess i don have the chance nw... =(

if u want a nice and good looking bmw coupe just like how it look 16 years ago, then be prepare to pay the 16 years ago price, which i think was about $250k+? $20k+ for the all time classic 320coupe somemore with the rare auto transmission and furture renewal potential its reali a steal, haiz too bad i hesitate too much, its already sold..... and now my wife wants the newer coupe, im dead....
