Once you finish the asthetic mods and then nothing else to do, sure kerna jialat jialat mod engine aka piggy oink oink or better still, be one of the brave ones to go ECU tune .

I know wat u mean... Nt resisting, let it come when I feel it. Aesthetic mod finishing. Time for ARB, lowering spring, SSBH, brake pads, then until nothing to do, then consider engine... Hahaz

Quite a few 118s now... 200bhp sure is tempting. But hv been seeing TP ambush more n more. Pay more for power, pay more fines too.

I think nt worth for 118... Wif all due respect, areadi paid 20k more... Another 2k??? I think Simple piggyback will b enuff. No matter which piggyback, on paper still gives u the same figures.. as long as got more butt feel and after service is more impt..., enuff areadi LOH. My 1 cents, nt mean to be "action" hor...

Hi guys,

A bit of an off topic here. I noticed some of you came from the Golf GTI, how are they compared to the F20s in terms of handling and reliability. Was damn close to buying a late model MK V GTI, but given the high second hand prices I just went for the F20s. Tried the 116, loved it instantly.

Just to get your thoughts on comparison.

I came from a Golf MK VI TSI, the BMW wins for handling n I had ARB, coilovers done for the Golf. Reliabilty wise, mine was the seven speed dry, needs no intro. The ultimate happened when my car shut down while cruising on PIE, CEL came on...
