Tks managed to run INPA on windows 7 but not NCSexpert . Gonna try resetting gearbox adaptation this weekend. Recently had this slight jerk problem after complete stop even after replacing the mechatronics unit .

Re: My Coding / Diagnostic happenings ..........

Reset transmission no need inpa .... use the accelerator pedal is faster.

Turn engine on but don't start.
Step on accelerator pedal all the way down for 30 secs
Release and start engine.

INPA however can help reset the other stats of the DME.

The jerking to a stop problem needs a closer examination of the dsc module.

Oh yeah, I used that to set the throttle map on my PB .But guess what, it didnt do a darn thing. From the other forum seems like it has got to do with the Neutral Idle Control (NIC) feature that decouples the torque converter when u stop. I dunno man, waiting for my K+Dcan cable to arrive so that I can actually use INPA to reset the adaptation values .

Re: My Coding / Diagnostic happenings ..........

When coming to a stop - it's not a NIC issue.

Did not realise you have PB - then the pedal reset will not work.

There is a slight jerk forward accompanied by drop in RPM 1-2 seconds after a complete stop. So don't really know what the problem is here

Re: My Coding / Diagnostic happenings ..........

Hi

The jerk u all talking about is not the gearbox issue on the jerk before stop?

To come to it. I did my gearbox solenoid renewal. Everytime when brake to stop. the car will still have a very very slight jerk then stop. I thought is the brake pad and disc come to a complete stop and that caused the very very slight jerk. Not like a Jap car that have a smooth stop.

Mmm...
