I'm doing good bro tho a little busy at work. This Sunday? A bit susah lah bro ... working tomorrow (Sat) too, similar situation as bro C3PO, so Sunday left to spend the day with my son. Furthermore, heard the plan about you guys wanting to spread the "mod virus" ... I also heard very infectious, scared I also kena infected!

God willing 1 of these days, we'll meet up, I do wanna check out your chio ride bro!

hey jnoelq, jw is there even any low end loss on the performance intake? cos i heard that non-stock CAI actually results in a slight loss in low end though for the life of me i cannot figure out why. anyone cares to clarify?

Hey Kaiser,

Based on personal experience there ain't any loss in the low end with the new intake, in fact I find it more free reving and eager to go from the stops. From the technical facts given by BMW, they quote that the Performance Intake actually increases airflow by 25% and with this increase of airflow going into the intake manifold coupled with some "juice" aka fuel, it actually makes the engine more responsive to every throttle prod.

The only low end "sacrifice" mod I've known so far is the exhaust.

hmm... just had a chat with bernard from bvo today. apparently for 4 potters, performance intake or gruppe m might result in loss in low end as our engine is just not capable of using that increase in airflow. he gave the analogy of stuffing a kid's mouth with too much food which the kid can't process... but for larger capacity engines it's definitely win-win.

so this sexy little toy will probably have to wait until i change out my ride... sigh
