I informed Gavin of the black car condition at 4 years plus with lots of swirl marks and not much shine. Kinda dull black actually. I am hoping to get the paint back to new showroom condition. The rims are really in terrible condition. From gloss black becomes matte black with ruby hue.... Can you imagine the state of the rims??

Went down this morning and Alan was there to welcome me. Explained patiently all the differences of the various types of coating and encouraged me to pick up the ceramic coat. He then proceeded to book a cab for me and was more worried than me when the cab couldn't locate the place. Nice touch here...

Very impressed after picking up my ride!!!! I would say 90-95% of the swirl marks are gone with a very fine polished wet look. Look at the rims as well... about 80-85% recovery given the poor initial condition, I'm happy with that result. Upon reaching, Alan even brought me on a final QC inspection on both interior and exterior just to make sure that I'm satisfied with their service. Sensing that I was concerned with 2 minor lines on the hood, Alan instructed his team to polish and reapply the ceramic coat immediately. Seriously, such customer service is hard to come by nowadays. In addition I did not sign up any package and Alan was cool about it. He even offer the package price if I do return later. To add on, Gavin gave the green light to add in a 'Special' service to the interior. This overall experience and service, really cannot complain...

After a check through the web and forum, decided to send our 2-day old pre-owned E92 to Revol for the Zetough Ceramic PPS.

When I arrive, Marcus did a great job to explain in details what would be done to the car with the Zetough Ceramic PPS, and upon collection of the car, he was very patient and went through all the parts where the magic touches were applied!

Overalll, we were very pleased with the final product and the car looks way better than the new E90 in our neighbourhood.

Thank you to Marcus and his team for a job very well-done!

I booked my appointment with Gavin on Wed (23 Mar) afternoon and went down to the AMK branch yesterday for my ceramic coating application. Overall, very satisfied with the services.

- Car looked very clean and shiny when I collected it. Interior was also well groomed and you could tell it was treated with leather conditioner. The wheels were spotless and free of brake dust. I had some short deep scratches where they confirmed with me and helped me to touch up. Some light scratches I had on the tail lights, where I had previously tried scratch removers to remove but had no results, were also gone after treatment.
- Very fast service. Can collect in 4~5 hours. Marcus was very efficient. When I reached the workshop, he briefly told me what would be done and details of taking the package deal for my consideration. Thereafter I left the car there and they gave me a lift to AMK hub.
- Good service. They sent me to AMK hub after I left the car at the workshop, and picked me up from there as well when the car was ready for collection.
- Friendly and no hard-selling of the package deal. Marcus was also helpful in directing me to park the car and exit the workshop.

Looking at the car now brings a smile to my face. Kudos to Gavin, Marcus and team for the great job!

Just a suggestion: can consider giving the customer a sheet on the post treatment care instructions so easier for them to remember.

Did my pps at revol amk branch 6 months ago, recently discovered 2 stain marks on my black car that have etched into the paintwork. Brought my car back for touch-up but was told that there is nothing much they can do (which is understandable given these are etched marks). But then again, are we not paying a premium for protection against such damage to our paintwork?

Can't help but feel slightly disappointed...

I had ceramic coating done on my F32 and Girlfriend’s E93 earlier in Jan 2016 at the AMK Outlet, but have been holding off on any reviews because I wanted to be sure that the coating and after sales service was as good as it was made out to be.

I will not talk about workmanship because I believe this has been mentioned many times before by other users. I will talk about the other other ways Revol has impressed me.


Manage Customer Expectations:
a. When my gf and I brought our cars in for assessment by Marcus, Marcus explicitly told us what kind of paint defects they could or could not fix. Marcus also immediately told me that the watermarks on my car could not be removed 100% (These were the same watermarks that my previous groomer – Groomerslab - guaranteed to remove for me but ultimately failed to do so.)

b. Managing customer’s expectation is important becuase I can make an informed decision on whether or not I want to proceed with the car grooming, and I would not be disappointed with the results as I have been duly informed about what can or cannot be done. Thumbs up to Marcus for this.


Customer Service:
a. I would like to single out May for special mention as 1 of the most polite person customer service officer I have met.

b. As the 1st point of contact for a phone enquiry/booking, she leaves a very good impression with her politeness and professionalism.


After Sales Service:
a. I was sceptical when Marcus told me that should I get any minor scratches, I could always bring my car back for a car wash, and they would touch up the area FOC.

b. 6 months later, my gf’s car and my car were involved in 2 separate incidents where we needed to respray our front and back bumpers respectively. After our car bumpers had been re-sprayed, we contacted Revol on 2 different occasions to get the bumpers recoated. On both occasions, Revol did the re-coating of the bumpers absolutely FOC even though they aren’t obliged to do so. For this I am very grateful to them.

c. Bros, upon reading this, please don’t go running to Revol expecting them to re-do coating for you FOC. The re-coating for my cars was done out of goodwill. If Revol can do it for you, I believe they will. If they don’t, they must have their reasons.


PS: Is there any way the queuing system for Car Wash at AMK outlet can be improved? Finding a parking spot to park while waiting for my turn can be pretty challenging. A valet option would be awesome to have. :lol:
