Did anyone notice that there is no more dual zone climate control? There is only one knob for the temperature control and in increments of 2 degrees celcius. No longer the dual zone with the digital display which can go in increments of 0.5 degrees celcius.
I'm not sure whether it has rear air conditioning as well.
Small as it might seem, I was still considering to get the F30 M Sport when it arrives but this downgrade in interior controls is the deal breaker.

BMW is very careful with 3-series one. They know and understand that 3-series is a huge cash cow that generates a lot of moolah
no need to look far ... just look at the track record from E36 > E46 > E90 > F30
They will not play play with 3-series design & concept like the 1-series

I agree, but the pre-FL E90 looks like shit when it was launched and it still looks like shit to me stock. Must mod one
F30 stock is already quite nice so this time the 3 series is a winner in its class. I would like to see how Audi A4 tries to catch up

...the F30 frontview stance could've been better defined, I thought...
hmmz...must take a look at the actual thing when it arrives on our shores next year

estimated selling price for F30 320i
$40K (OMV) x 2.3 + $65K (COE) + $30K (Margin) = $187k+- (currently e90 lci 320i is priced at $211k on brochure?)
328i (less 2 cyclinder) likely to be priced higher than current 325i (more 2 cyclinder)
SA probably smoke you, look at the emblem 328i leh ... +3 level from 325i ...

Given the current 523i "list price" has a margin of 80-90K, I'm not surprised that the new 320i will be "listed" around the range of $220k by the stealership.

Initial feel wasnt very good when i first saw the photos, after a few days of going thru the photos of the F30, started to grow on me. Im glad I didnt give in to temptation to get the A4 nor the C Class. Hopefully my lao pok chia can tahan till after the 1st year of the F30 for the kinks to get ironed out.
