Not that I give a shit ......

But switched to 95 from 98 and FC went from 7 to 8 km/l. Gave me an extra 70-80km. On my third tank full.

OT - And to the TPs out there ..... You have my third finger salute.

Interesting to read so many useful info. My experience is better higher Oct for 6 cylinders. Get better mileage with 98 than 95. Engine runs smoother too. Using 98 for my 335i. The other car changed to diesel...
Anyway learned that Jaguar is selling more diesel-engine car than petrol!?

E60 Lci 523 drinks 1 litre of 98 every 9.5km and 1 litre of 95 every 9.3km...shown on OBC

Wearing 225/40/r18 runflat shoes...CSC3 SSR

based on my experience so far, 98 gives the best mileage. haven't tried vpower yet though

The slight improvement in mileage cannot cover the differential in price between the 98 and 95R.
Of course many will say if you drive bimmer still look at such price difference....then this topic no need to discuss further liao.

No wonder i can't afford BMW. Must pump RON 92 next time. Go JB pump petrol must shake the car to pump more.

Make sure u go to the pumps with ramps so u can reverse tilted up. Can squeeze in 0.02 litres more ron92! Pm me for directions.

Im new to d forum. I have e90 and f10. If u like smooth n fast resp go for 98 or else 95 is suffice for city driving. Both give same consumption but u hv to pay the price for 98.

I agree with u. i hv the same car as u. lately i tried diesel. it works as well with new 2013 manufactured cars.

You debadge your Mazda 3 , then put BMW badge, then put M3 badge Also, thus u get m3 power with just the badge and Mazda 3 fc because u using Mazda 3 engine!

I thought "Ultimate Driving Machine" and "Sheer Driving Pleasure" denote fun, handling, power delivery and a nonchalant attitude towards tyre prices and fuel costs. How I know what matters more is badge and body?

badge over body..... ( oh since is a BMW simi shape and pattern sure is nice! simi series also can)
body over engine......( SHELL, ppl look at the shell first , that why...simi 335 lar 550 lar...the wordings very small)
BADGE>BODY SHELL>ENGINE

If I drive a car w NA 3.2 IL6 engine,
will putting a BBK but pump 98Ron give better FC or should I remove the BBK(but i scared I cant stop my car, quite powerful creamy strawberry IL6 3.2 in time) and pump 95Ron?

by the way I also hear installing spoilers reduce drag and hence FC also improve.
