actually, whatever film we stick on the glass, the car will still be hot if parked under the sun for a long period. the diff is how one feels when driving, i.e. whether the arms are hit hard from the sun's rays.
i agreed with you. Called me silly. I actually snake out yesterday after around 3-4 pm and drove to an open air car park with bright sunshine. I compare by putting my arm on the window without film installed for 5 mins and shift to the one installed for 5 mins too. Rest for ciragrates break, then start with tint 1st then without. Repaet it for 4 times. I can felt the differences. without film I can feel the heat. with i still feel it but much less. this morning as we drove to work, my wife felt it too. Normally when we travel along the causeway bridge, the sun will shine straight from the left and my wife will complaint. today I ask her if she felt tans... she replied, not really.

got cert but think it put there front not LTA compliant, i.e. they need to cover back side
bro, wrt your long post on which to choose, i'd say pay the premium and take vkool. save a few hundred scarly u dont like, then how? tear and upgrade?
I think after long finding and asking around, I will go for Vkool if the qoutes given to me still applies, or else I might consider CnL.
As for compliant issues, anaylse between ONEmotoring solar tips and Vkool Eurospec specifications, it should on the safe side.
VKool,
Front X75 is 77% Visible Light Transmission
Front Side J83 is 83% Visible Light Transmission
... LTA compliance standards for tinted films. The resultant light transmittance for the front windscreen and two front passenger windows must be at least 70%.
As for the rear windscreen and the rear passenger windows, they must be at least
25%.

i check blind spot too, but i tell u no worries. can see clear clear even when raining cats and dogs. unless u take the Rike Cool that is very dark then i not sure, but if its K37 or VK40, no problem

bro...I am not into too dark for the rear. I still check blind spot on the left when filtering out so when it is too dark esp at nite, quite dangerous cos can't see properly.
FYI
K37 36% Visible Light Transmission
VK40 43% Visible Light Transmission
VK70 73% Visible Light Transmission
All the above are for rear application only.
Dezzy, if you prefer not so dark, your choices its clearly on VK70 for the rear.
