Nope. Only two small ones on driver side.

When I got my free trial film on the passenger side, no bubble problem at all. was smooth and clear. Lucky you or should I say the workmanship @ SIM MING its more professional. :)

Most if not all of the bubbles would disappear after a few weeks out in the hot sun. Hence their advice to park it under the sun as often as possible for the next couple of weeks.

I had the same problem where there were quite a bit of bubbles but after a few wks, ALL of them disappeared!

Cheers

Thanks for tips, SAM. I actually snake out yesterday and go VKOOL @ TOH GUAN where I got my film installed, I show them the bubble problem they said the same to me too. Ask me park under the sun to faster dry up the water in the bubble. If after 4-5weeks, there its still bubble, they will tear down the film and install new one.

I personally think the installer were rushing to complete it.:furious: :furious: I see the way they wipe through using the squeeze thingy to push all the excess water, its like those autie/uncle at KOPITIAM clearing tables. fast and furious, after wiped, still the table its wet.  sigh! because after mine there were like 5 more cars waiting, all BMW from PML, I think. cos mostly SGX plate. By the time I'm done its already 4+pm.

my office carpark its underground one. so hope it won't take too long to dry up those irri bubbles.:(

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

Give it some time and most of the bubbles will disappear. I park my car outdoors most of the time when I'm in the office. No covered carpark so it was faster. The only part that takes more time is the rear windscreen with the demister lines. It takes longer but in the end, it looks fine!

There was a big bubble that showed up on my front windscreen that didn't go away after 4wks so I went back to CnL and they replaced it, no question asked. That's what I look about CnL. Top-notch service.

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

that's one habit I can't live with... its 'patient' hope service @ VKOOL TOG CUAN would the same if my bubble stay after 6 weeks. :uhhh:

I think its the workmanship bad lo @ VKOOL TOH GUAN :( as long as they live up to their warranty, I'm fine.
but as mention by SAM, he too faces bubble prob at 1st, but later all fine after weeks of tanning under the sun.

maybe me & Sam got the lemon. :)

jus some advise,

from this thread I've learned, knowing what you want and how its cost its important to verify whether its good deal or not. especially for windows tint film. the cheapest $200 to expensive $1300. my package would cost me $1220 if I walk-in. with 10-20% discount would still be expensive. but I'm lucky to get my PML SE do me a favour. she hooked me up with TOH GUAN VKOOL, didn't want her commission and in return as my saving to the package. my advise its you must know what you want (brand & package) and how much it cost retail with and without discount. so during the show you can decide straight before the sales person start his/her cocking sales technique.

in other words go a show to shoot for deals and not shot by deals that's so called good deals.

so deal u got in the end was better than 20%? not too sure about the additional 5% (or what amount) was worth it if workmanship not as good. unless u are talking about 10% over & above the 15%, then maybe think harder. i mean for about $61 less, if got to spend time go back thru and fro also cost that in terms of time right? but am surprised Toh Guan has 5 more cars after yours...the one i went only has 2 cars booked per morn or aft session so definitely not rushed job, and i only had no bubble to grapple with thereafter.

DAN san, can u see out of the car at night from the side?

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

your front screen is tinted? oic

What did he fail the sides for if it is only 3%? I can see this could end up being a very good argument between them and yourself.
I have a density meter here, come, we do the test and see what density it actually is v's the law

the in-charged told me that they used to fix 4 cars per day, now after they take over they try to do more. that's why its rushed job lo... :(

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

sorry to rub salt onto wound but rushed job is no good...keep warranty card in case u need to go back often
