not sure was it my SE but when i checked her prices, apparently only for fixed packages; ie cant match VK75 with VK40 etc, and not much diff from direct walk in to vkool showroom. in fact, my return customer discount of 15% better than her price

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

CNL got newer films, they call it Titan Series.... now we get more options. Hee hee

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

the market is flooding with all kinds of films...the wonders of competition...but do "test" it on the road if possible (friends' ride perhaps) to feel for yourself how each film will react to the actual sun's rays. this is one mod that i feel should not be taken lightly

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

as I'm typing this. my car its being installed with Vkool @ TOH GUAN branch. dam excited as it is my 1st car to be installed with tint film. my choice its VK75 for front 3 piece, VK70 for rear window only. & VK40 for rear windscreen only. will try post the before and after installation pics once I got home with my camera cable.

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

here are some comparison before and after.
WindowTint-Rear.jpg

From the pics, you can see only slight darken effects, cos my lemon interior too bright.

WindowTint-Rearwindscreen.jpg

The VK40 its really what I intended. Now from the rear the car looks a bit more Orh Lu Lu liow.

And this is VK75 & VK70 comparison
WindowTint-FrontRear.jpg

From this pics, you can see the differences of the front VK75 and rear VK70 by looking at the both front and rear side panel comparison. Its slightly darker at the rear but not that dark.

WindowTint-fromside.jpg

Overall the car don't look too dark from the side and darker from the rear.

Lastly, VK75 all front isn't LTA compliant. Its off the limits by 3-4%.

VKool guys told me it takes 4-6 weeks for the film to completely bubbles free, so let's see.

Pleasure indeed.

The VK70 on your ride and mine looks kinda different..... It looks lighter on your ride. Could it be due to (1) different interior colours and/or (2) the coupe's windows are darker? Strange eh?

Nope. Only two small ones on driver side.

Re: Window Tint, which brand Huper Optik, Vkool, Cool n lite, 3M

Most if not all of the bubbles would disappear after a few weeks out in the hot sun. Hence their advice to park it under the sun as often as possible for the next couple of weeks.

I had the same problem where there were quite a bit of bubbles but after a few wks, ALL of them disappeared!

Cheers
