I had a Audi before this 523 I just bought. I must say the service by PA was excellent.
You never have to wait too long before a CS pick up the call. SA return calls within half an hour.
Car collection was a breeze. Whenever i was there to send in my Audi for servicing, the SA
will attend to me before my third sip of coffee.

besides PML only experience i had was Ford. My family have been a firm supporter of Ford for the past 30 + years. Every 4-5 years, the sa would call my dad, bring the new car to him to see if wishes to change. loan/purchase is handled at my dad's workplace. My dad do not even need to visit the show room.

Servicing is a breeze as well. We either drive to the service center or if the sa is free, he would come and collect the car from us and would return the car to us when service is done. There is always a loan car if servicing takes more than a day.

To think that even when servicing takes even more than 3days to over a week when they try to even attempt to rectify the problem, no loaner car is given. Speaks alot about their dedication to customers. Which is why I have taken the liberty not to buy my next BMW if I ever have from PML. I can always PI myself from sources. Easy. You just need to know the reputable ones.

No point paying so much more to buy from pml and in return get this kind of service level.... Just collected my F10 last wk from PI. Although waited for quite a while to get the car shipped in, service from them are good....infact worth waiting as I confirmed the car when coe is only 40+ k and my selling price of my e90 increases due to the coe increase....

if wanna keep the car for 5 yrs or more definitely PI...if keeping 1-2 yrs...no choice still PML...coz resale still better..unless majority of 2nd hard car buyers change their mindset...

I have a suggestion. In future whenever BMW releases a new model. Lets say the M die hard fans want to buy the F32 M3 in few years time. Lets say we have 15 buyers.

Fark...all 15 go to one PI and mass order for 15 M3 lah...the PI will also get a bigger bargainable discount from the overseas BMW distributor.

Sent in on Mon morning and guess what, can be repaired only by Fri ?!?!! :furious:
Repair a/c takes 5 freaking days ??!! Orrr...sir, you see, need to open up dashboard etc etc.
Yah, still?? 5 freaking days ??!!
My friend's lexus got the same problem also open dashboard. Done SAME DAY!
Don't know WTF is PML doing!
Ask for loaner car, say don't have because all loan out liao.:thinking:

Thought Lexus/Jap cars' cooling coil is inside the glove compartment so much easier to replace.

Nevertheless 5 days is absurd.....maybe PML should outsource the service to the true profesionals and just concentrate of claiming & supplying parts and manage paperworks plus having a few sexy service advisors attending to the owners.

yes, fixing/replacing a part can be completed in 1 day but the problem is they could be operating in maximum capacity liao.
sometimes all 3 centres are fully booked for the whole week!
another thing is paid or claim warranty ... pengful valvetronic motor is replaced chop chop eh ?

Wif record sales, service centre is definitely fully booked. In addition, there is a lot of newbie complains about dashboard/door creaking which will definitely hogged up unnecessary slot. Mayb all of us should switch to Lexus. Better service. Who care whether it is rebadged Toyota?

Yeah true also. Are there any dedicated car importers that are not focused on PI any brand of cars, just providing a service to indent the make/model and the options that you want. No need 3 yrs warranty or anything, just 1st 6 months will do. Bare bones pricing and can save alot of $$$ for those warranty markups, etc.

Then we can go our favourite workshop specialising to do our maintenance, etc. if you can save 50 to 60 k, Im sure even if gearbox spoil, etc and the other big ticket items, the 50 to 60k savings can still cover and no need to see ppl face or need to wait, etc. Just pay and go. Should be worth it IMO.

I paid since out of warranty. Are you saying they will chop chop on paid cases rather than warranty cases?

Maybe. 3 yrs ago, my alternator uplorry on sat afternoon. Since PML service centre (@ Alexandra) is not open on sat afternoon, i left my car there with my details. The alternator was replaced on Mon & i got back my car on Mon evening. Mind you, my car is E39 which had EOL for 6 yrs.

Tiok consolation px. Got back the car today. Maybe like wat some Bros here said, still under warranty that's y took so long.
Btw they also changed my rear window rubber cos it came out n changed the 2 sticks tats for my boot becos it wasn't working properly alrdy.
FOC for all n I didnt pay a single cent today....
