aFe Elite Intake + Cobb AccessPort Performance Programmer + KW Stage 3 Coilover

Re: aFe Elite Intake + Cobb AccessPort Performance Programmer + KW Stage 3 Coilover Not sure if the TS is still interested in Cobb... I'm on Cobb tuning on my E93 335i. Yes, as a ecu reflash it cannot "hijack" all the controls that JB4 can. However, comparing with my friend's Jb4 modded car...

please tell me it is not a gear box problem

Re: please tell me it is not a gear box problem On my E90 323i, when the gearbox started getting lumpy/jerky, I brought it back to the agent (under warranty still) and they "re-programmed" the gearbox. Was better after that. Could be one possibility, but I would presume changing the ATF...

19" staggered, what kpa for your tyre?

Re: 19" staggered, what kpa for your tyre? The recommended tire pressure for my e93 335, the rear is more than the front. I wouldn't deviate too far from BMW's recommended tire pressure.... In fact, for all my prev RWD car, the rear tyre pressure has always been more than the front.... never...

Piggy back or reflash ECU- which is better

Re: Piggy back or reflash ECU- which is better The piggybacks like JB4 and Procede have different maps which are suitable for different type of add-on mods. THey also can do auto-tune. So they can handle add-on mods. Cobb tune is a self install (u install) ecu remap, they have diff maps that...

Piggy back or reflash ECU- which is better

Re: Piggy back or reflash ECU- which is better Not quite true.... if you use Cobb Tuning, which is a ecu remap, it is stealth, you can remove anytime you want without opening the bulkhead cover, multiple piping and the ecu, no need to mess with wiring. AND you can resell the ecu remap...

    Is KW2 suspension good?

Re: Is KW2 suspension good? The rear shocks stiffness adjustment for kw v2 on a e93 is abit more complex as need to remove a number of panels to reach it, but it'll probably be the same for any adjustables anyway... On a e92 it's slightly simpler

Re: Is KW2 suspension good? I hope not ! My V2 are only afew months old..... But I've got a friend who's V2 has been on his e92 335i for a couple of years and so far so good. And his driving is aggressive plus he occassionally tracks his car !

    Is KW2 suspension good?

Re: Is KW2 suspension good? kw v2 is good ! I'm on kw v2 also on a e93 335i. On a e93, the kw v2 sits somewhat lower than on a e92. Guess it's the extra weight.

For Sale: Koni FSD Shocks for E90/92/93

Re: For Sale: Koni FSD Shocks for E90/92/93 From the usa forums. Koni instruction sucks. Also the stock msport e93 bumpstops sit on the stock shocks. That prevented the fsd from working properly. Ended up permanently in soft mode. The fsd shaft needs to move unimpeded in order to do its...

Re: For Sale: Koni FSD Shocks for E90/92/93 I was running about that - 1.5" shorter. Maybe a tad shorter might be good. There are no specs so had to trial and error

    335

Re: 335 I have a 2007 335i Cab as well. When I first bought the car 6 months ago, it had creaking noises, which were not consistent (ie sometimes have sometimes don't have). I used the OWS Body Flex gel on the rubber parts of the roof and most of the noise is gone. Now I only get an...

    E90 Engine Oil Indicator

Re: E90 Engine Oil Indicator Engine oil loss also seems like it affect some types of engines more than others... My E90 323i (magnesium engine) is a "regular oil drinker" but my 07 E93 335i doesn't seem to have the same habit... so far about 5k km and oil still full... Both no oil...

Lowering car with H&R springs - comfort concern

Re: Lowering car with H&R springs - comfort concern I'm on pre-Lci M Sports suspension but on a E93 335i. Frankly, the M Sports suspension is perfect blend of comfort and performance 80% of the time.... The last 20% - when on undulating surfaces, the suspension craps out.... squats till I...
